Purpose
The Senior Manager - EHS Program Development and Assurances for our Corporate Health & Safety team will hold a leadership position within Metallus that supports our six operational locations and corporate headquarters across Ohio, North Carolina, and Mexico.
This position will also help develop the implementation of health management systems, programs, and tools across the six operational locations.
Responsibilities
Health & safety program development including standards, tools, and training materials.
Partnering with key stakeholders to deploy health and safety programs across the organization.
Managing internal and external health & safety audit and assurance processes.
Managing industrial hygiene processes, Health & Safety performance management systems, reporting, analysis, etc.
Responsible for a team of 1-3 employees including goal setting, developing, directing, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or related with 15 years of experience in EHS or steel / heavy manufacturing operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Safety, Engineering, or related with 12 years of experience in EHS or steel / heavy manufacturing operations.
