Essential Functions of the Job:
· Cleaning and sanitation of facilities and equipment.
· Operation of powered industrial forklifts, scissor lift, power sweeper, pallet jacks, personnel cart, etc.
· Basic preventative maintenance inspections and tasks, including, but not limited to, fire extinguisher checks, eye wash/shower checks, lighting checks, etc.
· Basic facilities maintenance including, but not limited to, room set-ups, furniture movement, parking lot signs, etc.
· Helper to other maintenance classifications.
· Store maintenance parts to their proper location in the maintenance storeroom.
Ensure that parts are identified and storeroom is maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
· Work in a safe and cautious manner at all times to avoid injury to self and other and to avoid damaging plant equipment and facilities.
· Maintain a productive work pace, performing tasks in accordance with applicable quality standards.
· Follow written and verbal work instructions.
· Maintain a clean, neat and organized work area.
· Effectively communicate with co-workers and supervision to accomplish assigned tasks.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):
Must be able to read, write legibly and carry out verbal and written instructions.
Must be able to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner as needed to complete assigned duties.
Must work with minimum supervision
Knowledge of GMS and safety systems to ensure compliance.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED
One year of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Working Conditions:
Work performed in all areas of plant environment.
Occasionally required to work outdoors.
Exposure to elements such as dust, dirt, noise, heat, cold, etc.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk bend, twist/turn, bend/squat, push/pull, climb, reach below knees and reach above shoulders on a continuous basis.
Frequent use of powered material handling equipment.
Required to relatedly lift or carry up to 25lbs, frequently lift/carry 26-50lbs, occasionally lift/carry 50lbs.
Must be medically cleared to wear a respirator
