Working in Sanitation, you will be responsible for the detailed daily cleaning of equipment and structures in our food manufacturing environment using specialized equipment and techniques.
Your major role on our sanitation team will be to clean following production shifts by breaking down the production equipment to scrub, scrape, wash, and sanitize.
You will help to ensure our facility is clean and sanitary by following regulatory standards and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, policies and procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.
You will be an integral part of the day-to-day operation.

Responsibilities: Follow all required safe work practices.
This would include wearing required PPE in designated areas, confined spaces, chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
Complete basic preventive maintenance of gaskets, seals, \O\ rings, plates, etc.
, on all product contact surfaces as needed by the Master Sanitation Schedule.
Assemble and disassemble equipment for proper cleaning/sanitizing per manufacturer’s instruction.
Operate the CIP (clean-in-place) system to clean and sanitize equipment, tanks, and pipelines.
Complete record-keeping items such as but not limited to, identifying cleaning cycle times on charts, measuring cleaning concentration, examining flow rates, assessing heat-up temperature, and sanitizing by chemical strengths.
Perform the basic housekeeping, include clean floors, walls, ceiling, air vents, lights, etc.

Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information.
Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s.
Report any food safety and food quality-related issues to management immediately.
Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP) and consistently meet all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
