Extruder Machine Operator
Qualifications:
We are currently looking for self-motivated individuals to join our plastics manufacturing team.
For this full-time position, individuals must be reliable, able to work an off shift, willing to work some weekend overtime and willing to cross train.
Machine operators will report directly to our Production Supervisors.
Responsibilities:
Follow work order instructions
Set up extrusion machines and troubleshoot mechanical problems
Change gauges, speeds and coordinate changeovers
Ensure proper materials are used
Utilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and measuring devices
Inspect material to ensure quality specs are met
Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Complete proper paperwork and tracking requirements
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED
Must be willing to work an off shift.
Currently hiring for afternoon 3-11 or midnights 11-7.
Experienced in machine set-up, mechanically inclined & able to troubleshoot mechanical problems
Able to use hand tools and measurement devices (micrometer, tape measure)
Possess good math and computer skills
Prior factory and tow motor experience a plus
