*Summary:*
The ISO/Safety Assistant is responsible for assisting the implementing of policies and procedures to ensure that employees comply with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard and applicable OSHA regulations.
*Essential Functions:*
· Ensures compliance with ISO 9001 Standard.
· Coordinates activities with ISO Registrar.
· Oversees document control system, including writing, reviewing, issuing, and revising controlled documentation.
· Assists in the preparation for Management Review Meetings, documents results and tracks completion of assigned action items.
· Attends and conducts ISO related training as required.
· Develops internal audit schedule, conducts audits, assigns, and monitors completion of related action items and generates reports of audit results for management.
· Ensures compliance with OSHA, federal and state regulations.
· Assists in developing and maintaining company safety policies and procedures.
· Trains employees on applicable safety topics.
· Coordinates accident and incident investigations and implementation of corrective measures
· Maintains applicable safety records and analyzes safety data.
· Ensures that contractors working on the property follow company policies and safety requirements.
*Requirements:*
· High school diploma.
· One year of ISO experience.
· Three years of Safety experience.
· Demonstrate reliability and good work ethics, quality work performance, attention to detail is a must.
· Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
· Ability to multitask and work in a team oriented fast-paced environment.
· Excellent organizational skills and must be detail and process oriented.
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must have proficient computer skills: ERP Production software, MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
*Preferred:*
· ASQ Certification
· Three years ISO experience
· Familiar with ASME Section VIII code manufacturing
· Five years Safety experience
· OSHA 30 hour
· Certified Safety Specialist
