*Primary Function: *To layout work, set up, operate radial arm drill and overhead crane.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities of a drilling operator.
* Receives instructions, prints, and work orders.
* Understands and follows work instructions.
* Interprets drawings and sketches as necessary.
* Performs layout work.
* Sets up and operates machine tools.
* Completes preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
* Prepare samples for metallurgical testing (lab saw).
* Compliance to traceability documentation.
* Additional duties as required.

*Qualifications:*
Basic Qualifications
* High school diploma required
* Experience with conducting general maintenance on equipment or experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints.
* Exhibit a strong work ethic that includes a good attendance record.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondences.
* Ability to work a flexible work schedule to include holidays, weekends, and overtime.
* Ability to perform physical work, with the ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to work in high, precarious places and small or confined spaces.
Preferred qualifications:
* Mechanical or machining background/experience
* Welding experience
* Lathe experience
