*SUMMARY*
Tasks will include technical duties including drafting, CNC programming and bills of material/routing creation for finished products.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
· Create and maintain detailed drawings for customer approval, purchasing quotations, and production.
· Assist in developing cost estimates for finished product.
· Assist in development of solutions for custom items per customer requests.
· Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data for CNC Programming.
· Prepares geometric layout using Auto Cad including CNC interface.
· Write job specific work instructions for manufacturing equipment.
· Establish CNC programs for reduction of set up time, increased run rates, and reduction of operators.
· Create BOM's and Routings for all products.

*EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*
Associate degree in engineering or related field from a two-year college or trade school with Auto Cad required.
1–2-year experience and computer experience preferred.
CNC experience preferred.
*LANGUAGE SKILLS*
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Ability to understand industry standards and construction methods.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and customers, in small and large group situations.
Ability to utilize phone, e-mail, and other methods of communication.
*MATHEMATICAL SKILLS*
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
*REASONING ABILITY*
Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
*OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES*
General knowledge and skill with woodworking and metal fabrication, machine processes and finishing.
Proficiency in creating and interpreting architectural and technical drawings.
General knowledge of building construction details and fixture details.
Time management, meeting facilitation and fluent communication skills are also vital.
