The primary function of the New Truck Sales Representative is to identify and develop prospective customers to grow specific market segments for Kenworth heavy duty and medium duty trucks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, call, and develop prospective customers and assigned accounts within assigned territory.
Accountable to meet sales quotas and monthly sales activity goals while maintaining records of activity results in CRM system.
Create target lists, participate in sales blitzes, and pursue prospective business within assigned territory.
Build relationships with new and existing customers to conduct sales presentations, perform needs assessments, and vehicle demonstrations.
Monitor market conditions, Kenworth innovations, and competitors? products and pricing.
Develop proper equipment specification for opportunities by keeping current on medium and heavy-duty truck specifications.
Sees that equipment is correctly delivered and meets all of the conditions of the sale, and takes action to render prompt service in case of any deficiencies.
Write complete sales orders and process paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
Follows all accounting and procedural rules as outlined in the Sales Department Polices Book and the Company Employee Handbook.
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
Report all unsafe activities to the Sales Manager.
Abides by the company Drug Free Policy.
