The Holmes County General Health District is seeking an experienced a Public Health Nurse to perform a variety of duties within a community setting.
Job duties for this position include but are not limited to: participating on the emergency response team, assisting in the BCMH program, assisting with childhood outreach immunization clinics, health screenings, volunteer management of Medical Reserve Corps, communicable disease prevention and investigations, and grants management.
The Public Health Nurse position requires a current Ohio RN license, BSN strongly preferred, valid Ohio Driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Experience in Public Health Nursing preferred.
The successful candidate would be self-motivated, possess strong writing and communication skills, bilingual skills (Spanish or Pennsylvania Dutch) is a plus, a professional attitude, willingness to expand their knowledge as a nursing professional, and a passion for community health.
