Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Perform dental charting and documentation - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records - Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment Requirements: - Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures - Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Experience with medical imaging, including taking and developing dental x-rays - Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care - Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for patient management and scheduling - Understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality - Strong attention to detail in medical documentation and record keeping - Solid understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions Preferred Skills: - Certification or licensure as a Dental Assistant - Experience in a dental office or clinic setting We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
