HEAT TREAT LOADER - All Shifts (Day, Evening, Night) Note: As a union-based employer, we are unable to guarantee any shift preference following initial training on day shift.
Shift preference is granted by seniority.
All candidates should expect to work afternoon shift or night shift at some point following initial training.

Position Overview: Canton Drop Forge, a leading producer of large, closed die forgings in Canton, Ohio, is seeking Heat Treat Loaders to join our team.
Key Responsibilities: Transfer various fabricated steel forms to-and-from furnaces, containers, trays, and totes using hoist or by hand.
Loading and unloading material from heat-treating furnaces.
Abrades steel forgings using abrasive blasting equipment.
Operates abrasive blasting equipment.
Handling and operating various tools and equipment relating to processing.
Operation of Powered Industrial Trucks.
Performing duties within coordinated work effort of the steel receiving operation.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand majority of shift.
Use of respirators masks and PPE suits for specified tasks.
Job involves standing, walking, twisting, turning, reaching, bending, climbing steps, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
Must be able to lift up to 75pounds repeatedly during the day.
Must be able to tolerate extreme heat in summer months and extreme cold during winter months.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to read.
Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions.
Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
