Bindery Stitcher Operator

The Bindery Stitcher Operator will operate advanced and complex binding lines, including perfect binders and multiple-station stitcher.
Set up, adjust, and operate various bindery and distribution equipment.
Requirements: Responsibilities: Setup and operate Goss Saddlestitchers, Muller Martini Saddlestitchers, Prima, Bravo, and Sitma machines.
Responsible for quality and meeting production goals.
Lead and direct a crew of up to four people.
Pull, inspect, and correctly label all required product samples.
Preventative Maintenance of equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment problems.
Knowledge and Skills: Able to work 12-hour shifts (7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am) to meet customer demands.
Able to work overtime as required.
Effective communication skills.
Great attendance.
Possess a good mechanical aptitude and intermediate math skills.
Able to use hand tools to setup and adjust equipment.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Experienced in using rulers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
Physically capable of lifting up to 60# occasionally.
Knowledge of how to read machine blueprints and parts list.
Physically capable of bending, kneeling, standing/walking on cement floors for long periods of time.
