Our facility has four distinct units: Rehab, Memory Care, Long-term Care, and Transitional Therapy.
As a nurse, you can expect to have a routine unit assignment but may be assigned to work other units as needed.
We are looking for a reliable Licensed Pracitcal Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to take excellent care of our residents while working together as a team, where you will:
* Advocate for the needs of the residents and/or their families
* Supervise and oversee the work of STNAs
* Ensure that care plans are carried out appropriately
* Perform routine nursing measures, such as vital signs, weights, food intake, and behavior monitoring
* Administer medications and treatments
* Perform diagnostic tests as ordered
* Document resident information in an electronic charting system (Point Click Care)
* Coordinate resident care in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care
* Effectively make decisions to maximize the best clinical outcome for the resident
* Accountable for nursing compliance, excellence, and delivery of resident care in adherence to the organization, local, state, and federal regulations
* Complete admissions and discharges in a timely manner, including documentation
* Assure HIPAA requirements are followed at all times
