Salt Fork Lodge & Conference Center, located inside Salt Fork State Park in Cambridge, OH, is currently seeking experienced candidates for our Human Resource Manager role.

While this position is primarily Monday through Friday, availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays is required due to our multiple shift environment.
During high volume business days, there may be a need for this position to work in various roles throughout the lodge.
Previous experience in the hospitality industry would be advantageous for this position.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Degree in Human Resources preferred
PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred
1-3 years experience in Human Resources, preferably with previous experience in the hospitality industry
Valid driver's license required
Previous experience working with J-1 Visa student workers a plus
Specific job knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels to include but not limited to corporate, management, employees and guests.
Demonstrated ability in supervision and training.
Proficient in computer operations and payroll systems; preferably Great Plains, Infinitime and Hireology or other similar systems.
Ability to analyze data using spreadsheets and word processing.
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
Organizational and planning skills are essential.
Capable of prioritizing and performing tasks efficiently.
Deadline-oriented and committed to delivering thorough and accurate work.
Able to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
Have a thorough working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to payroll, equal employment opportunity, civil rights, occupational safety and health, wage and hour regulations, labor relations, and company-specific policies.
