Job Title: Clinical Supervisor Reports To: Program Manager Direct Reports: Clinical Therapist Summary: As a partner in building brighter futures for youth and their families, your role will be to provide clinical supervision and other related technical and clinical support activities that align with The Village Network’s Mission, Vision & Values.
Essential Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities: Coordinates activities related to Partial Hospitalization.
Helps with intake, referrals, and placement of youth.
Reviews and approves Individual Service Plans and Individual Service Plan updates.
Provides individual, family, and group therapy, as well as crisis counseling, to clients on his/her caseload according to each client’s needs/abilities.
This includes assessing a client’s therapeutic needs/strengths and establishing a therapeutic relationship while utilizing interventions that will enhance his overall functioning.
Assures programs are striving to meet the Goals & Objectives from TVN’s Strategic Plan.
Assures that programs are implementing TVN’s clinical models (TIC, NMT & CPS) with fidelity.
Assures the use of high risk interventions (restraints) are kept to a minimum through the Implementation The Six Core Strategies to Creating Violence Free and Coercion Free Treatment Environments.
Completes appropriate documentation and paperwork including, but not limited to progress notes after each therapy session, monthly/ninety day reports, J-Soaps, Terminations, Transfers and ISPs.
Serves as a contact point for families, agencies, and court, engaging in correspondence and communicating information within the confines of The Village Network’s confidentiality policies and procedures.
Facilitates case management by designing, writing, and coordinating individual treatment plans for each client.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reading/analyzing materials and reports from outside organizations, discussing with staff the progress of the client, revision of plans in order to ensure the best possible care, directing workers on how treatment plans should be implemented, monitoring compliance with the plans, attend school IEP meetings, conduct weekly team meetings, and attending group meetings to discuss treatment.
Interviews, evaluates, and participates in the decision process regarding new candidates to The Village Network.
Performs other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to use a computer; familiarity with Microsoft Office products and Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field; LISW or LPCC licensure with supervisory designation required.
Valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintains a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing The Village Network with vehicle insurance.
Travel required for home visits.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong time management and organizational skills; crisis management skills required.
Physical Demands: Ability to comply with The Village Network requirements for using restraints including sufficient strength and completion of extensive training.
Ability to handle bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, reaching, and walking for periods of time.
Must be able to lift 20 pounds independently.
Must be able to remain alert to problems, needs or emergencies that might arise on any shift, maintaining a safe environment for the clients.
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all levels or personnel, internal and external to the company.
