Vintage 1970s Rotel RX303 Silver Face Receiver in Nice Shape - $100 (Bolivar)

This receiver is in great working condition.
It has been cleaned internally and externally and the controls are quiet after a cleaning with Detoxit.
The FM performance is strong and the phono preamp sounds great and is dead quiet.
As for the cosmetics, it shows some minor bumps and bruises from a life well lived but is in generally good condition as the pictures show.
The price is firm and honestly quite a bargain at $100.
As a hi-fi brand in the 1970s, Rotel was overshadowed by stereo giants like Pioneer, Sansui and Marantz.
But if you look under the hood of these amps and receivers you will find the same quality components and engineering as the bigger brands.
I can personally attest to the durability of these gems since my first amp from 1975 is this receiver’s little brother and it’s still going strong and getting regular use in my garage.
