JOB The Department of Exercise, Sport, and Nutrition Sciences seeks a full-time non-tenure track Assistant Professor.
Teaching assignments will include freshmen through senior level courses including exercise physiology and nutrition/sports nutrition, as well as electives in areas of expertise.
We also seek a candidate that can assist in the development and growth of the wellness aspect of the program.
Teaching load is typically 16 contact hours per semester, but may vary dependent upon other duties and responsibilities.
As one of the largest undergraduate programs on campus, the successful candidate will bring a research agenda that can utilize undergraduate students, take a leadership role in the development and supervision of discipline-related fieldwork experiences (individual direct experiences and internal/external internships), advise Exercise Science majors, and be expected to take an active role in the department and campus community.
Mount Union continues to develop strength in the health sciences and professions, and opportunities to collaborate across disciplines with both undergraduate and graduate students and faculty exist and are encouraged.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Compensation: Competitive, based on qualifications.
