Orton-Gillingham Tutor

The East Central Ohio ESC is seeking a part-time Tutor for the Orton-Gillingham Program.
This program combines multi-sensory techniques along with the structure of the English Language to help dyslexic or struggling readers achieve academic success.
Tutors in the Orton-Gillingham program use three learning pathways (auditory, kinesthetic and visual) to develop the literacy skills of students in a one-on-one setting.
*Minimum Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree * Valid Ohio license or permit appropriate for the assignment * Completion of Orton-Gillingham training preferred * Record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment * Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred *Responsibilities*: The following duties and responsibilities are representative of performance expectations, but are not considered all inclusive.
