Assistant Preschool Teacher

Responsibilities: - Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment for children - Teach basic math and literacy skills through engaging activities - Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and inclusive environment - Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about student progress - Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with autism or other special needs - Participate in curriculum development and assessment Qualifications: - Previous experience working with preschool-aged children - Strong classroom management skills - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Familiarity with daycare regulations and licensing requirements - Passion for educating young children and fostering their development Free Family YMCA membership with employment Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $10.
