Activities Coordinator

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging activities and programs for residents in an assisted living facility - Plan and coordinate events, outings, and social gatherings to promote socialization and enhance quality of life - Provide recreational therapy to residents, including music therapy, art therapy, and physical activities - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure activities are tailored to meet the needs and interests of residents - Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Skills: - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members - Strong event planning skills to organize engaging activities and outings - Familiarity with memory care principles and strategies for residents with cognitive impairments - Knowledge of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and ability to assist residents as needed - Experience working in an assisted living or similar setting, understanding the unique needs of older adults This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about enhancing the lives of older adults in an assisted living environment.
