SCHOOL BASED COUNSELOR AND SOCIAL WORKER

*Alta Care Group* in partnership with the *Utica Shale Academy* is looking for a *Counselor* and *Social Worker* to help students improve and maintain their employability skills with a focus on their mental health and overall wellness.
Utica Shale Academy is a unique school program that offers training related to local employers and industry workforce needs associated with school/business partnerships.
These positions are primarily school based but will require some community work in neighboring areas.
Must have a *Bachelor’s degree* in a social services field at a minimum, with preference of licensure as an *LSW, LPC, LPCC or LISW.
* *Salary ranges are $38K to $45K for social workers and $50K to $65K for counselors to start*.
The ideal candidates will be able to work with transitional age adolescents from predominantly Appalachian backgrounds, be able to communicate well with teachers and parents and manage documentation efficiently.
