Responsible for assisting the Pharmacy team with serving customers and providing safe, accurate and efficient service; provides prompt service in the to customers; enters prescription information into computer; resolves insurance billing issues; collects customer and prescription information required to process new and refill prescriptions; retrieves the appropriate medication from inventory where permitted by state law; creates prescription labels and prepares prescription containers where permitted by state law; places medication into prescription containers where permitted by state law; maintains a safe and clean workplace; assists with inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and counting; Comply with all company, state and federal policies, laws and regulations including HIPAA and Pseudoephedrine sales; and preforms other duties as assigned.

*Experience / Requirements*
-Minimum age of 18 years old as required by state law to become Pharmacy Technician.
Will consider other non-technician candidates for customer service roles.
-Ability to pass drug test.
-Committed to providing customer service that makes customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
-Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
-Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
-Ability to work during the following business hours: 9am-7pm Mon-Fri and 10am-3pm on weekends.
-Accuracy and attention to detail.
-Ability to rapidly and accuractly input data into a computer.
-Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.
*Preferred:*
-Pharmacy Technician certification or ability to pass the test within six months.
-Familiarity with Pharmacy Law and industry/technical terms and processes.
-Knowledge of brand and generic drugs by name.
