Position Summary: This position requires the delivery of exceptional customer service to clients, providing support, resolving issues, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
You will be interacting with customers through all communication channels and providing them with guidance on banking products and services, and assisting tellers by overseeing and performing many of the daily branch operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Account management, including opening and closing all retail accounts and consumer loans.
Answering phone calls and assisting with problem resolution where capable Assisting customers with financial transactions and accurately processing all deposit/withdrawal transactions and payments.
Accurately updating and recording changes to customer accounts when required.
Processing wire transfers Promoting and referring useful and beneficial accounts and services to customers regularly.
Following all safety and security procedures and reporting any suspicious activity or misdemeanors to the appropriate authorities.
Prepares transaction related forms for IRAs and can offer knowledgeable assistance to customers when facing IRA related inquiries.
Assists customers with mobile and online banking.
Collaborate with team members to perform tasks with a positive attitude and demonstrate positive leadership qualities when supervising those around you.
Balances both their own drawers and the vault daily with great accuracy.
Assists in preparing monetary sales and receiving money from the FED.
Adhere to all compliance and privacy regulations and be aware of changes made in order to practice the most up to date services.
Has obtained notary responsibilities no later than nine months of hire.
Orders new debit cards and accurately handles disputes and restrictions.
Keep up to date on all ABA training as assigned.
Places holds on checks when needed.
Regular and predictable attendance Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes No Work Experience Qualifications: Customer service and cash-handling experience needed.
Lending experience preferred.
Education Requirements: High school diploma (minimum) Associate degree or higher preferred Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office preferred.
Licensing or Certification Requirements: Notary Status within nine months of hire NMLS number preferred for consumer lending purposes Work Environment / Physical Demands: Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (boxes of coin)
