Role: The primary role of this position is to assist Sales and DHI in the areas of Customer Service including communication with customers, vendors, sales, and various departments within DHI as well as the creation of jobs and job status updates within DHI for assigned customers.
In addition, the tasks of assisting management and all visitors to the company by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail.
Potential Candidate must be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate.
Competence in ALL Microsoft Office Suite.
House Account Customer Service Responsibilities: * Collaborates with DHI sales, production, purchasing, and shipping as well as vendors to plan, execute, and close assigned customers’ jobs * Providing real-time scheduling support by using Company Network system to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, sales, purchasing, and other DHI departments as needed * Provide administrative assistance to executives and management team members as required.
* Perform data entry duties with regard to sales figures, metrics and other key data.
* Answers questions from customers or individuals about DHI services and directs them accordingly within the company * Handles confidential and non-routine information in a professional manner.
* Enhances DHI’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments * Screens phone calls and routes callers to the appropriate party.
* Greets and assists visitors * Maintains polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and other means of communication * Anticipates the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
* Serves as the administrative assistant to Sales, Human Resources, and all Shops completing various tasks as assigned *House Account Customer Service Requirements:* * 1 to 3 years customer service experience * Ability to multitask * Excellent communication skills (Communicates well with shipping, production, and quality control departments).
* Independent problem solver * Prior administrative experience.
* Excellent computer skills – MS Word, Outlook, Great Plains, DATS * Attention to detail * Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others * Experience with ordering, invoicing, and delivery reports preferred.
* Must be an organized individual with a sense of urgency.
Required Training Schedule: · Procedure DHI-CS-2001-010 at hire date · Procedure DHI-CS-2001-011 at hire date · Job specific training Hours of Work: *Day shift: Monday thru Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM* Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.
