*SUMMARY*
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented *Customer Service Specialist* to join our growing team.
In this role, you will be a vital point of contact for our valued customers in the aerospace and defense industries.
You will provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and processing orders with accuracy and efficiency
*Responsibilities:*
* Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person on visits.
* Accurately process customer orders, forecasts, and returns.
* Communicate with customers about updated delivery dates.
* Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with a focus on accuracy and quality.
* Maintain detailed records of customer actions through email and our CRM system.
* Negotiate stocking levels of Replenishment items.
* Build and maintain customer relationships.
* Prepares reports of business transactions.
* Proactively identify and communicate issues to internal teams.
* Works with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
* Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.
* Review pricing histories and implement new pricing.
* Daily check customer portals for new orders, order updates, and date changes to orders.
* Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the customer service department.
*QUALIFICATIONS: *
* Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of the aerospace and defense industries (a plus).
* Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
