To provide quality customer service by wrapping, packaging, and price marking meat related products as prescribed by the store and department standards.
To execute functions in an efficient manner within store policies.
* Ensures that all displayed shelves are properly stocked and faced at all times according to product movement, tag allocations and the department standards.
* Greet customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service and assistance as needed.
* Receive, process, cut, trim, scrape, package, tie, wrap, weigh, price and label meat and meat products according to company standards.
* Maintain a regular cleaning and sanitation program.
* Maintain proper case and display conditions, to include: cleaning, stocking, straightening, rotation and culling product.
* Must dress according to company policy and maintain a neat, clean appearance at all times.
* Checks refrigeration equipment regularly for proper temperatures and performance.
Friendly, good customer service skills, ability to follow directions, good communication/ listening skills, attention to detail ability to stand for long periods of time, and ability to lift over 50lbs.
High School Education Required
Previous expierence with meat department operations.
Familiarity with products carried in the meat department.
