As a Quality/ Industrial Engineering Co-Op at American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc.
(“AAM”) Minerva, you will be afforded the opportunity to work side-by-side our skilled professionals to assist in the operations of our organization.
This role has the potential to expose you to multiple areas, quality assurance, and industrial engineering duties.

Conduct a variety of general administrative tasks as assigned.
Support Quality / Industrial Engineering departments with various assigned duties
Timely communication of project status and relevant issues
Perform work measurement studies and equipment performance analyses to identify productivity improvement opportunities.
Track and maintain equipment changeover and identify opportunities for improvement.
Troubleshooting / Root cause analysis
Statistical Process Analysis
Quarterly Job Instruction Review Reports
Plant Quality Board
Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to learn other programs used by various departments
All other duties as assigned.

Must be enrolled as a full-time student from an accredited college or university in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
Must also be able to present evidence of academic excellence.
Working toward a degree in Engineering.
Available to work 35-40 hours/week.
Prefer students with two (2) years availability as Co-Op and in good academic standings
