Position Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting with the general ledger of ISG NA facilities including journal entry activity, reconciliations, account analysis, resolving accounting issues and reporting to various level of management.
A high level of integrity is required as all work must be performed in accordance with CSA policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
Record journal entries and analyze activity for accounts including prepaid, intangibles, amortization, accruals, inter-companies and other liability accounts
Prepare account reconciliation and detailed analysis to support key balance sheet accounts
Assist in ensuring compliance with CSA policies and procedures
Provide supporting information/report to internal and external auditors as requested
Work with plants, divisional and corporate personnel to record and balance intercompany AR/AP
Support manager and other members of department in special projects
Ensuring accuracy of documents and reports
May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Two plus years accounting experience required
Good computer skills required, including proficiency in Excel
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Ability to work with all levels within an organization
Good analytical abilities; good verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter and a results-oriented team player; possess an ownership sense of role/ responsibility; constant focus on improving the process and results
Willingness and ability to travel, when necessary

Must wear proper personal protection equipment as required
Travel to manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required
