A Fudge Counter Salesperson is one of the points of contact for all guests visiting Lehman’s.
Fudge Counter Salespersons assist in creating a memorable experience by offering a friendly greeting and serving delicious, homemade fudge to our guests.
Lehman’s fudge is sold in the store as well as online.

Reciprocity is the key - we serve others the way we would want to be treated.
Greet and acknowledge guests entering and leaving the store.
Cutting, serving, and/or boxing specific quantities of fudge.
Provide fudge samples and other incentives to encourage people to buy fudge.
Suggest specific flavors of fudge to appeal to customers' preferences.
Package fudge for inventory and/or shipment.
Record and report related information such as the type and number of questions asked by the customers, etc.
Communicate routinely with Cafe manager to ensure product and supplies are available; fetch product and supplies when needed.
Keep work area clean and neat; includes organizing the fudge and supplies, dusting and cleaning the sales counter, and occasional mopping of surrounding floor.
Answer guests' questions and provide information on procedures or policies.
Maintain an awareness of Kidron store department locations; promotions; retail and community events.
Other tasks as assigned.
Scheduling: This is a seasonal/temporary position needed for summer/early fall; due to the influx of traveling customers, availability to work on Saturdays and holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day) is REQUIRED of all our retail team members Education: Minimum of an 8th Grade education required Experience: Minimum experience of 3-6 months in a customer service, retail and/or customer-centered environment or relevant life experience is preferred Skills and Abilities: Customer service oriented - Ability to take care of customers’ needs while following company procedures.
Communication skills - Strong oral and written communication skills required.
Computer skills - Working knowledge of computers required.
Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate effectively using the English language.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
