A Produce Associate / Produce Assistant Manager (based on experience) is responsible for assisting the Produce Manager with managing the produce department.
Responsibilities include managing inventory, department pricing, merchandising, ordering, reworking product, receiving, unloading, storage, rotation of merchandise and building of displays, assisting customers with locating items; providing a high level of customer service; and performing other duties as assigned.
*Pay based on experience*.
Required:- Ability to work up to eight hours per day- Ability to read, write, add, subtract, and multiply- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds- Ability to reach and stock items up to six feet high- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions - Ability to operate stock dollies and box cutters- Ability to pull or push wheeled vehicles weighting up to 500 pounds- Ability to communicate clearly with customers.
