Assist with tray line, dishes, stocking, and cleaning.

4p-8p part time at New Phila Campus

Scope of Job Tasks:
Assists with meal/drink preparation and distribution (serving in dining rooms and tray line) based on shift requirements.
Cleans Main and Small Dining Rooms before/after meals as needed.
Ensures dining rooms are set-up for next meal.
Maintains clean refrigerator and microwave in Small Dining Room.
Washes/dries/puts away dishes and wraps silverware as needed.
Stocks supplies as needed.
Ensures Small Dining Room is cleaned and stocked for overnight needs.
Assists with maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Other duties as assigned.

Work Experience:
Prior kitchen experience is preferred, but not required – on the job training provided.
Physical Demands:
Good physical and mental health.
Must be able to stand and walk short distances for extended periods of time.
Must be able to stoop, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry at least 40 pounds.
Must have good hand dexterity to safely prepare food.
Work Conditions:
Works in a clean, well-lighted and ventilated kitchen.
Atmosphere is warm and humid from cooking foods.
Exposed to sudden temperature changes when entering refrigerators and freezers.
Potential for burns from hot food and utensils, and cuts from knives.
Potential for falls on slippery floors.
Following proper safety standards essential.
