The primary responsibility of the Parts Manager is the supervision of the profitable operations of the Parts Department and to grow the departmental parts sales and gross profits each year.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supervises the day-to-day activities of all Parts Department employees.
Responsible for hiring, training, cross-training and developing all department staff.
Call on new accounts with the goal of growing the dealerships sales and gross profit each year.
Coordinate dealership-wide parts calls, advertising, and shop promotions.
Ensuring Parts Department?s inventory is correct and orderly.
Parts are ordered as needed and stocked upon arrival.
All parts are located according to plan and are easily accessible.
