_You must have a valid non-restrictive Ohio Drivers License, be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening, undergo a preemployment background check, and be able to withstand working in the sun and heat.
_
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks, including flatbeds, tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and more.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual labor.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the truck.
- Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery of materials or equipment.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A) with appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate various types of trucks, including those with manual transmissions.
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus.
- Familiarity with load securement techniques and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and other team members.
