Summary of Responsibilities
Provides outstanding interactions with guests , assists with complaint resolution , and contributes positively to the overall visitor experience for MWCD guests.
Assists guests with site set-up and canvases the campground to assist guests during their stay.
Assists with daily operations of the park and educates the public on the policies, rules, and regulations of MWCD.
May assist in performing basic maintenance, and groundskeeping tasks.
Practices standard MWCD safety procedures in performing job duties and assists other MWCD personnel as required.
Essential Functions include the following.

Greet guests in a positive and professional manner.
Assists MWCD guests (seasonal and transient campers, cabin guests and day users) with locating campsites, cabins, accessing park amenities while providing detailed and accurate park and general information.
Assists gate and registration with lot checks, checking car passes and giving guidance to campers on site set-up.
Provides guidance to all guests and explains ancillary services such as concessions, firewood sales , ice sales, golf carts, and park activities/programs schedule and sign-up.
Acts as a point of information for seasonal campers, transient campers, cabin guests and day use visitors – explaining park rules and regulations, and information about surrounding area by answering guest questions or directing them to the appropriate park staff.
Provides brochures and gives directions.
Communicates basic park rules and regulations to visitors.
Engages with guests to foster a relationship with the guests, and to communicate and follow-through on any guest requests.
Communicates with park management staff and rangers and escalates any guest issues as necessary, including but not limited to quiet hours complaints, suspicious activities, or persons.
Notifies appropriate manager of any safety concerns realized while performing job duties.
Communicates maintenance needs to park management and/or maintenance staff.
Assist maintenance staff with maintenance requests as individual skills and training allow.
Skills and Abilities
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Prior experience in a customer facing role/working with the public is required.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills required
Certifications & Licenses:
Driver’s license valid in the state of Ohio.
Must be insurable by MWCD fleet insurance.
Abilities:
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to provide quality guest interactions with consistent, energetic personality.
